Ruby was born in Blackey, Virginia, on March 3, 1930, to William and Sarah (Stacy) Street and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Sutherland; sister, Marie DeVietro; son-in-law, John Porter Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Porter; granddaughter and friend, Malinda Flint; one grandson; 6 great-grandchildren, Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011, 2-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 4:00 PM.
