Rufus Douglas "Shorty" McClain, 79, of Orient, Ohio, passed away March 25, 2014. He was born on December 28, 1934. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus D. and Iona McClain; wife, Anna McClain; one brother and three sisters.
Surviving family includes children, Douglas McClain, Chris (Marsha) McClain, Lorie McClain, Eric (April) McClain; sister, MaryEllen (Bill) East; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation Friday, March 28, 2014 from 6-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, OH.
Donations may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice C/O Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213-9924.
