Russell O. Barton, 62, of Johnstown, OH, passed away on April 19, 2020. He was born on June 10, 1957.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Margaret Barton.
Surviving family includes wife, Kim, children, Heather (Bob) Wilson, Brooklynn Brooks, Brandii Brooks, Brionne Brooks, brother, Frank (Debbie) Barton, 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephew, in-laws, Heidi (Rick) Duff, Bill (Janna) Corfman, many friends and firefighter family.
Lt. Barton retired after 33 years of service as an EMS Coordinator for the Columbus Division of Fire. As a mentor, Russ influenced many firefighters and paramedics during his career. His fierce love for family and friends will always be remembered. Russ was a die hard fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
