Russell C. Fox Jr., 72, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 in Westerville, OH. Russell was born on November 9, 1943 in Cairo, IL to Phyllis and Russell C. Fox Sr.
Russell is preceded in death by his parents; and grandmother, Hontas Fox.
He is survived by wife of 50 years, Marcia M. Fox; children, Andy (Lisa) Fox and Sarah (Al) Rahal; grandchildren, Ali and Sofia Rahal and Grace and Sam Fox; sisters, Carolyn Fox and Deborah (Don) Briggs; and many other loving family members and friends.
For many years, Russell enjoyed fishing and boating on Lake Erie in his boat: The Carpe Diem. He also enjoyed collecting model trains, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and The Ohio State Buckeyes football. He will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his sense of humor, and extreme generosity.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr. #265 Columbus, OH 43231, in Russell's honor.
