Russell L. Brunton passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at First Community Village. He was born on December 23, 1931 to the late Thomas and Helen Brunton.
As a young man he was a member of the U.S. Army and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He also retired from White Westinghouse and the American Red Cross.
He is preceded in death by his son, Rusty and brothers, Edd and Ted Brunton. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carolyn; sons Russell (Karin) Crosky, Michael Brunton, Joe (Kelly) Brunton; daughters, Regina (Tim) Bunn and Julie (Darrin) Grose; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special little friends and caregivers, Olivia Grose and Carson Brunton.
The family will receive friends from 3-6pm, Monday, August 8, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where the funeral service will be held following the visitation. Rev. Gerald Murphy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Russell's memory may be made to First Community Village, 1800 Riverside Dr., Columbus, OH 43212.
