Russell E. Nitsch, 83, passed away peacefully October 21, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice; children, Terry (Sheila), Rusty (Vicki) and Rick (Christie) Nitsch; grandchildren, Matt Nitsch, Ashley Nitsch, Jama McCloud and Angi Higgason; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Tony (Dee) Nitsch, Mary (Phil) Hiser, Michael (Nancy) Nitsch and Barbara (Bryan) Cooper; and many other family members and friends.
Russell was a loving husband and father and never met a stranger. He was loved by anyone that met him.
Life member of academy of Model Aeronautics; member of 2898 Knights of Columbus; attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 11 AM at St. Cecilia, 434 Norton Rd., Columbus, OH 43228. Inurnment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Russell's memory to St. Cecilia.
