Russell Orlando Stith, Sr.

Russell Orlando Stith, Sr., Sunrise: December, 3, 1943; Sunset: July 12, 2017. He was born in Cunard, W.V.
Russell served in the United States Army. He later moved to Columbus, OH where he started his own family and worked as a contractor and painter. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and working on his truck.
Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Delacy and Dorothy Stith; son, Russell; sisters, Joyce, Alberta and Kay; nephews, Daryle and Tony Stith.
He is survived by his children, Fatima (Eric) Stith, Russell (Michelle) Stith, Jr., and Deshong Stith; grandchildren, Olivia, Dorrian, Eric, Jr., Shana, Mercedes (Adam), Marquis (Aradashia), Marchel, Cameron, Robin, Deshong, Jr., Trevez, Larry, JaySean, Trystin, Tryntin, Ava, Rayah and Alexia; brothers, Warren, Harold, and William Stith; special nephew, Kenny Stith; the mother of his children, Carol; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-3pm, Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, N.E., 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231 where the funeral service will be held at 3:00pm.
