Ruth A. Bates, 67, of Columbus, OH, passed away March 19, 2013. She was born in Chillicothe, OH on January 16, 1946. She was employed by L.D. Management for over 20 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Ryan and brother, Gary Ryan. Surviving family includes, children, Bill (Kim) Bates, Lisa Jordan, Pam (Charlie) Hawkins, grandchildren, Mike Bates, Brandon Trisler, Kevin Bates, Cameron Jordan, Chaz Hawkins, great-grandchildren, Makiya Trisler, Makenzi Bates, Anthony Bates, Kahle Bates, brothers, Glen "Bud" (Kim) Ryan, Jack Ryan, half-brothers, Jimmy and Bobby Ryan.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00pm, Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Friday, March 22, 2013 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester.
