Ruth Elizabeth Davis, 98, of Columbus, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Heartland of Westerville.
She was born January 23, 1916 in Philadelphia, PA.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Glenn H. Davis; daughter-in-law, Beverly Davis; two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Maralyn (Paul) Scheiderer; sons, Glenn (Mary Lou) Davis and Stephen Davis; grandchildren, Stacie (Ben) Childers, Andrew (Stacy) Scheiderer, Bob (Rita) Davis and Scott (Marybeth) Davis; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Greenfield Township Cemetery, 4663 Carroll Cemetery Road, Carroll.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Linworth Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 6200 Linworth Rd. Worthington, OH 43085.
