Ruth Ann Emmons

Ruth Ann Emmons, 84, of Westerville, passed away August 12, 2025.

Ruth was born October 14, 1940 in Logan, Ohio to William Jennings Beavers Sr. and Dorothy Agnes (Helber) Beavers.

She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, cake decorating and arranging flowers for family and friends.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her husband David; children Scott (Lisa) Poling, Tracey (Phil) Spring; grandchildren Erin (Andrew) Spalla, Zach (Brittany) Poling, Kayty (Colten) Schooley; great-grandchildren Hadley Spalla, Brady Schooley, Baker Schooley; brother Ronald (Tina) Beavers; sisters Mary Lou Travis, Bernice (Robert) Same, Katherine (Tim) Whiteman, Evelyn (Dave) Pierce along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Jesse M. Beavers, Dorothy B. Johnson, Nellie F. Schmidt, Carrie J. Beavers, Sharon R. Chapman, brothers William J. Beavers Jr., Donald Beavers and Walter F. Beavers.

There will be a private family service held at the funeral home at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
