Ruth Sando Perry

Her Excellency Madam Ruth Sando Perry, Former Senator of Grand Cape Mount County and Former Head of State of the Interim Government Republic of Liberia, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. Ruth was born on July 16, 1939 in Liberia, to Semila Fahnbulleh and Marjon M. Fahnbulleh. Ruth was 77 years old.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, husband Counselor Macdonald M. Perry and daughter Cecelia Perry Goodridge.
She is survived by children, Ralph G. (Precious Smith-) Perry, Serdou B. (Elodia) Perry, Vasalee V. (Veronica) Perry, Georgia J. (Augustus) Perry, Priscilla T. Perry, Albert V. (Naomi) Perry. 6 non-biological children, 28 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 13 siblings; residing in Liberia and America.
Visitation/Wake keeping service will be on Friday January 27, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church 125 East Broad Street Columbus, Ohio 43215.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Trinity Episcopal Church 125 East Broad Street 8:00 am to 11 am.
Mrs. Perry will be laid to rest at Glen Rest Memorial Estate immediately following the funeral services.
