Ruth Smith, 90, passed away on February 9, 2016. She was born on February 5, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, parents, Willard and Hazel Hieatt, sister, Betty Pohlman, grand-daughter, Bobbie DiMarzo.
Surviving family includes children, Judy (Dave) Bowers, Gail (Cabel) Pitts, William R. (Connie) Smith, Lisa Turner, grandchildren, Lori McNabb, Tammi Alexander, Scott (Kim) Pitts, Shane (Angel) Pitts, Valinda Holsinger, Amy (Marvin) Eblin, David (Lori) Bowers, Anthony W. (Jessica) Smith, Christopher K. Smith, Jenna Turner, many loving great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, siblings, Doris Marsh, Eula Kearns, Shirley Hieatt, Joyce Courtney, Charlotte Bell.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6pm, Monday, February 15, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a memorial service will begin at 6pm.
