Ruth VanOrsdel, 100, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 in Jefferson City, TN. Ruth was born on October 21, 1917 in Warren, OH to the late Frank and Hazel (Alderidge) Brobst.
Ruth is also preceded in death by her husband, John R. VanOrsdel.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice V. (Raymond) Mussio and Sheryl V. (Wayne) McCoy; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A small family funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus NE Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of the donor's choice in Ruth's honor.
Ruth is also preceded in death by her husband, John R. VanOrsdel.
