Ruth Winningham Walters was born on July 4, 1934 in Byrdstown, TN. Passed away Nov. 30, 2021 in Westerville, OH. She was married to John "Jack" Walters on April 7, 1951.
Ruth is survived by her children, Marcia (Rick Lowery) Adkins, Steve (Anne) Walters, Scott (Crystal) Walters; daughter-in-law, Jill Walters; grandchildren, Andi Ochsenhirt, Chris (Shannon) Adkins, Reb (Brandee Beers) Adkins, RJ (Heather) Walters, Tyler Walters, Rachel (Hayden) Platt, Bradley (Claudia) Walters, Ashley (Shaun) Decker, Amber (Caleb) Moore, and Bryston Walters; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Ferris, James Winningham, Lois Records, and Wanda Moppins.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Walters; parents, Hige Winningham and Clara (Obie) Phelps; brother, Robert Winningham; and son, Ron Walters.
A private celebration of Ruth's life will be held at a later date.
