Ryan Michael Groves, taken from us suddenly, too soon May 20, 2017 at the age of 20 years old.
Born September 13, 1996 in Columbus, OH. Graduate of Dublin Jerome High School Class of 2014. He later attended Bowling Green State University and was employed for 4 years as cook and manager at IACONOS restaurant, Shawnee Hills, OH.
Preceded in death by father, William "Billy" Groves; special loving uncle, James L. Groves; grandfather, James E. Groves; and grandmother, Lisa Kuhns.
Survived by mother, Misti Kelly (Michael) Fraizer; brother, Jaden; sisters, Madyson and Braelynn, Marion, OH; beloved brother, Tyler Austin Groves, Columbus, OH; big sister, Leah Miller, Columbus, OH; loving grandmother Mary Jo Groves "Nanny", Columbus, OH; grandfather, Chuck Kelly; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; much loved uncle Greg and Aunt Eva; special nieces, Grace and Emily; loving Uncle, Rich Groves; many good friends and work "family."
Ryan enjoyed a strong family bond and work ethic and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a loyal and true friend with a heart as big as the Horseshoe, like his dads. He was wise beyond his years, an old soul with a smile and laugh that lit up his space. He wanted everyone to be happy and enjoy life as he did.
Ryan was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, OSU Buckeyes, his pool league, basketball, and video games. He enjoyed all types of music, from Rap to Country. He was truly one of the good ones. All that knew him loved him and respected him. He made the world a better place, he touched the lives of so many people for the better, and he will live on in our hearts and thoughts.

A celebration of life will be held at Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. at The American Legion, 1571 Demorest Rd., Columbus, OH 43228.
A private family interment will be held at a later date.
