Sam Dalton Jr., 78, passed away on June 30, 2019. He was born on June 7, 1941.

Sam was a veteran serving with the United States Marine Corps from 1961-1966. He retired from Conrail. Sam was a commercial flight instructor, having owned his own airport. He was a Mason at the Westgate Blue Lodge. Sam was a member of the Moose Lodge # 11 and belonged to the Southeast Conservation Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola, parents, Sam and Frances Dalton and numerous siblings.

Surviving family includes daughter, Lola (Tim) Burge, grandchildren, Dalton (Joseph) Feasel, John Kastrevec, Samantha Kastrevec, great-grandchildren, Mychael, Lela, Cynthia, sisters, Ruth Hartman, Ruby (John Jacobs) Stepp, brothers, Willard (Linda) Dalton, Marvin (Pam) Dalton and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Friday, July 5, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
