Samuel David Bevins, age 49, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. He was born in Columbus, OH on January 24, 1967 to the late Edgel "Buck" and Helen Bevins.
He graduated from Franklin Heights High School, Class of 1985. Sam loved the OSU Buckeyes, riding his Harley and was a wonderful, self taught piano and guitar player.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Mike Bevins. He is survived by children, Samantha, Samson, Salena, and Sydney; siblings, Brenda (Desi) Gentzel, JR (Tina) Bevins, Nancy (William) Bibbey, and Trish (Chuck) Redding, and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 1-4pm, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where the memorial service will be held, following at 4:00pm.
