Samuel Jay Scarberry Sr., 35, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 11, 2014 in his home.
Preceded in death by his mother, Anita.
Samuel is survived by his fiancée, Tamica Perry; children, Shelly, Melissa, Samuel Jr., Rachel and Kimberly; brother, Dennis and many more family and friends.
Per Samuel's wishes there will be a Funeral Service at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. He will then be cremated. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 4pm until the time of funeral service at 6 pm at the funeral home.
Samuel was a man loved and respected by all who knew him.
A long time patient of ALS, Samuel requested donations to be made to ALS research in his name at the Columbus Chapter of ALS, 1170 Old Henderson Rd., Ste. 221, Columbus, OH 43220.
