Sandra K. Jenkins, 76, of Columbus, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at Riverside Hospital.
Sandy was born April 29, 1947 in Barberton, OH to Walter Smith and Mary Margaret (Drummond) Smith.
Sandy retired from COPC Westerville - Central Ohio Primary Care, where she worked for 30 years. She thought of her "family" there fondly and continued those relationships into her retirement. Sandy enjoyed taking walks, routing for the Buckeyes and watching her grandsons sporting events. Her family and friends were the joy of her life. She will be deeply missed by her husband Richard J. Jenkins of 45 years. They were married July 1, 1978 in Columbus, Ohio.
Surviving are her husband Rich, Son, Chad William Clark (Jamie Piper Clark) of Richwood, Stepson, Richard Thomas Jenkins of Columbus, Step-daughter Christine Marie Grissinger of Westerville, Grandchildren: Cade Clark, Cash Clark, Julian Grissinger, Luke Grissinger, and Eli Grissinger, and life-long best friend Mary-Alice Lindon (Aunt Middy) of Blacklick.
Sandy was proceeded in death by her father, Walter Smith and Mother Mary Margaret (Drummond) Smith.
A private service will be held for close family and friends at a later date.
