Sandy Dalhamer

Sandy Dalhamer, 59, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on Wednesday May 8, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Sandy was born to the late Emmett Keplar and Jane Keplar, in Columbus, Ohio on April 5, 1960. Sandy has two older brothers, Raymond and Milton Keplar.

Sandy attended Westland High School (class of 1978) before earning credits at The Ohio State University. She started working at AT&T when she was twenty years-old as a telephone operator. Over the years, her skills, talent and expertise led her to become an engineer specializing in telecommunications. She retired from AT&T in January 2011. During her time at AT&T she gained friendships that would continue throughout her lifetime.

Vacationing to the beach was one of Sandy's favorite pastimes. She frequently visited Sanibel Island, Florida and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her husband and friends. While not beachside, Sandy could be found trying new recipes in the kitchen. She often volunteered her skills by preparing dishes for her church family. Baking Christmas cookies with friends and family was her specialty and they were enjoyed by many. Sandy most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Layla. She loved to care for them by preparing home cooked meals, doting on her grandkids, and being there to help at a moment's notice.

Sandy Dalhamer is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Greg Dalhamer. They were married on September 3, 1992 in Columbus, Ohio. She has five children: Kyle Wonder, Kristin Wonder-Hill, Justin Dalhamer, Kaitlyn Dalhamer, and Nathan Dalhamer. Sandy was also blessed with eight wonderful grandchildren: Lucy, Cooper, Evangelina, Owen, Jaxon, Nora, Roman, and Theodore.
Memorial services will be held Monday May 20, 2019 at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, located at 4770 Hoover Road Grove City, Ohio 43123.

Friends and family are encouraged to visit with the family beginning at 4:00pm.

The service will begin at 5:00pm.
