Sara Ann Brillhart, 46, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away on February 27, 2026.
Sara was born on January 10, 1980, in Columbus, Ohio, to Raymond Wesley Barr III and Uanna Sue Barr. She graduated with honors from Westland High School in 1998. She was baptized at Saint Mary Magdalene Church on South Roys Road, and her faith quietly remained a source of strength throughout her life.
Sara was loud, stubborn, and full of personality, and she was proud of it. She spoke her mind, stood her ground, and fiercely protected the people she loved. Beneath that strong exterior was an enormous heart and a love that never ran out. If you were hers, you were hers for life. She was the fixer, the protector, the one everyone called when something went wrong. No matter the situation, Sara made sure her family felt safe, supported, and deeply loved.
She dedicated 17 years of service to Medco before continuing her career at Quantum Health in 2018. She worked hard, showed up every day, and gave her best, just as she did in every other part of her life.
Of all the roles she held, being Grandma was her favorite. Her granddaughters, Maddison and Nova, and her grandson, Asher, were the center of her world. She talked about them every chance she got, showed up whenever she could, and poured into them the same protection and love she gave her own children. They were her pride and joy and what she considered her greatest accomplishment.
Sara loved camping trips, late night shopping runs, and cooking big meals that brought everyone together around the table. Food was how she showed love. She loved going to the beach, especially when her husband finally agreed to the trip, and the annual Michigan family vacations were some of her happiest memories. Those trips were filled with laughter, traditions, and moments her family will cherish forever.
More than anything, Sara was the heart of her family. She was the voice on the other end of the phone when something went wrong. She was the one who stepped in, took charge, and made things okay. Her presence was strong, her love was even stronger, and her absence will be felt every single day.
She is survived by her loving husband, Shawn Michael Brillhart; her daughter, Miranda Brillhart, future son-in-law Jacob Bidwell, and granddaughter Maddison Plummer; her son, Shawn Michael Brillhart Jr., daughter-in-law Chasity, and grandchildren Asher Michael Brillhart and Nova Rayne Brillhart; and her youngest son, Brayden Kasey-Dale Brillhart. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Wesley Barr IV; her Aunt Shelly Owens; and her Uncle David Barr.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Uanna Sue Barr; her father, Raymond Wesley Barr III; her grandmother, Madeline Barr; and her grandfather, Raymond Barr IV.
