Sara Jo (Winters) Raymond, 83,of Briggsdale, OH, passed away July 18, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Charles J. Winters and Viola (Shaffer) Winters; husband, Leonard "Ben" Raymond; and brother, Jack Winters.
Sally is survived by children, Benjamin Michael (the late Suzanne) Raymond; Jack (Debra) Raymond, Rebecca Raymond, Cindy (James) Borror and Sue (Jerry) Courtney; sisters, Jean (the late Jimmy) Irwin, Mary (George) Phelps, Barbara (the late Lester) Hollingshead; grandchildren, Laura, T.J., Stacy, Emily, Stephen, Katie and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Kaylin and Brooklyn; brother-in-law, Kenny (Jean) Raymond; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Sally worked as a waitress for many years while raising her children. She loved spending time with her family especially on holidays when she could cook for everyone. Sally also enjoyed the family parties while watching the Buckeyes. She will be deeply missed by all of the lives she touched.
Visitation Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 4-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, OH.
