Sarah Jeanne Rose

Sarah Rose, age 71, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. She was born November 20, 1945 in Springfield, OH. Sarah was a 1963 graduate of Pleasant View High School and later attended Bliss Business School. She was a long time employee of Columbus Life Insurance Company and Western & Southern Insurance.

Surviving family includes daughter, Lisa Rose Chatfield; grandchildren, Kathy Chatfield, Brian Chatfield, Jason Chatfield and Emily Chatfield.

Preceded in death by parents, William Edward Rose and Merle Saunders Rose.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to your local animal shelter or charity of your choice.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to friends and neighbors who assisted with her care and transportation to appointments. Also, to her companion, the late David Arendash.
