Scott Edward Swisher, 75, of Groveport, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 28th, 2026. He was born on October 31st, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Marion Franklin High School, and earned his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in mathematics. Scott would go on to retire from Columbus South High School after thirty years of dedicated service. Scott also started his own one-man lawn care service when he was eighteen years old, serving countless people across Columbus for forty years.

He is survived by his daughter, Jody (Jeni) Swisher; son, Andrew Swisher; grandson, Dylan Swisher; sister, Sue Swisher; as well as three dear nieces and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, Scott's main concern was fulfilling his Christian duty to both his family and fellow neighbor. As a warrior of prayer, he never failed to trust the power of prayer and was a devoted reader and scholar of the Holy Bible. In his free time, Scott was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes football team, as well as an avid history buff. He also enjoyed playing chess, taking car trips with his family, and rescuing cats; as well as meeting up for morning coffee with his dear friend, Rudy.
