Sgt. Roberte. Preston
August 30, 1934 — January 4, 2014
Sgt. Robert E. Preston, 79, passed away at his residence on January 4, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents and wife, Carol.
Robert is survived by sons, Steve, Dennis (Cindy), Bobby (Lisa) and Mark (Molly) Preston; six grandchildren; as well as other family and friends.
Retired from Franklin County Sheriff's Office after 43 years of service as a Deputy Sheriff. United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Belonged to the VFW and American Legion. Robert loved to be with others.
Memorial Service Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 12pm with gathering one hour prior at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio, 222 E. Town St., Columbus, OH 43215.
