Shane Wesley Herald, age 39 of Johnstown, passed away on March 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born on July 15, 1979 to George and Kathryn (Stewart) Herald in Zanesville, OH. Along with his parents he is survived by his wife of 16 years Jamie (Roberts) Herald, sons James Wesley and Dillon Jackson Herald, siblings Vanessa Ranee' Smitley and Shawn Michael (Kari) Herald, grandparents James and Marie Stewart, nieces and nephews Kaitlynn Herald, Marissa and Carly Smitley, Bo and Brock Stought, John Thomas Roberts and Kylie Hammack, mother and father-in-law Joanne and John Roberts, sister-in-law Jonda (Keith) Stought, brothers-in-law John (Karla) Roberts and Jacob (Samira) Roberts. Preceded in death by grandparents Rita and Fred Herald.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home at 10:00am. Burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown, OH.
