Sharon Kay Nunley

Sharon Kay Nunley, 70, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on April 28, 1956, Sharon was the beloved daughter of the late Tommy Lee and Norma Jean (Gabriel) Johnson. She shared more than 50 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Danny J. Nunley, building a life centered on love, faith, and family.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Danny J. Nunley; her daughters, Cheryl Nunley and Danyelle (Brandon) Adams; her beloved granddaughter, Kylee Kay; her grandson, Quinn Stanley; six brothers; five sisters; many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike Smock.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sharon's life. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Southwest Chapel,3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by interment at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Sharon's memory to support cancer care and research.
