Sharon L Ward

Sharon L. Ward, age 69 of Canal Winchester, passed away at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on December 29, 2018. She was born on January 15, 1949 to the late Sheldon and Sarah Bird (Blackthunder) Bird in Sisseton, SD. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by first husband Craig Elder Sr, brothers Allen Joseph Bird and William Bird, sisters Veronica Bird, Sandra Cirlebear, Evon Frye and Laurel Bird. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Carl Ward, children Craig (Pamela) Elder, Tiffany Elder, Christopher Ward and Shenise (Lemanuel) Wright, grandchildren Bria, Kyra, Lamar, Shamar, Jarra "Bear", Jay Taylor and Tia, sisters Cathy Ann Bird and Sheila Bird.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 3pm to 5pm.

Memorial service will be held on Monday at Reynoldsburg Church of Christ, 1649 Graham Rd. Reynoldsburg, OH at 12pm with Dion Frasier officiating.
