Sharon Wood

Sharon Wood, 65, passed away on May 2, 2015. She was born on December 7, 1949. She was preceded in death by her father John W. Thompson and brother, Robert Thompson.

Surviving family includes mother, Pearl V. Thompson, children, Kimberly (Christopher) Harris, Myra (Amber) Mills, Steve (Holly) Albaugh, grandchildren, Aarika Harris, Jordan Harris, Brooklyn Harris, Taylor Albaugh, Mason Albaugh, siblings, Diana Cogdill, Patricia Morris (Golden Girls), Christine Hamilton, Debbie Schoenberger, John Thompson Jr., Terry Thompson, and many nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends.

Our mom was a very strong, courageous and selfless person even in passing by giving the gift of life. The family requests that you wear bright colored clothing in honor of Sharon.

Visitation will be held from 1-3pm, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 3pm.
