Shawn F. Kelsey

Shawn "Simon" Franklin Kelsey, age 56, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on June 12, 2025. Simon was born in Hawthorne, NV to the late Wayne Kelsey and Barbara Bostic.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by the dad who raised him, Bill Smith, uncle Robert Hopkins.

He is lovingly survived by his brothers, Jason (Vikki) Smith, Kory (Andrea) Sumerau, niece, Shelby (Kyle) Cox, and many extended family and friends.

He was a proud Army Veteran. Simon spent 30 years working as a bartender, loving his job while meeting and talking to people. He never knew a stranger.

He will be deeply missed.

A dignified cremation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home.
