Shelby Anne (Louch, Jackson) Age 56. Resident of Parkway Crossing in Grove City passed away August 18, 2013, after a brief battle with cancer. Shelby was born September 27, 1956 to Robert and Sue Louch.
Preceded in death by father, Robert Louch and her best friend and grandmother, Elizabeth Collier. Shelby is survived by husband Jim Ford, former spouse Robb Jackson, and children: Bobby (Renee) Jackson, Miki Huffman, self-proclaimed "favorite" Susi (Jason) Evans, and Marc Jackson, sisters Genie (Gary) Grant, Dawanna Holobaugh, and Adena (Dennis) Tucker, mother Sue Louch, mother in law June Ford, lifelong best friend Ginger Caffora, Cindy and Melody at Majic salon and nails, and many nieces and nephews. Shelby had 15 grandchildren, whom she adored.
Shelby was a 1974 graduate of West High School and a 1986 graduate of Franklin University, with Bachelors in Business administration and labor management. She worked for numerous trucking companies her entire career, managing logistics. Shelby was recently a part time aide with South-Western City Schools, which she dearly loved, and worked on the blocks at Manheim Auto Auction. Shelby enjoyed reading, drinking coffee and spending time with her family and was affectionately known as "the pool lady" by her friends in the Parkway Crossing community.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00am to 3:00pm, Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Shelby requested red attire with no jeans.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you hug your family closer. Shelby will be missed.
