Shirley Jean Laudermilt

Shirley Jean Laudermilt, 75, passed away Sept. 22, 2019. She was preceded in death by husband, Charles O. Laudermilt; parents, Elma and Arlie Dolly Sr.; nephew, Billy White; and great-grandson, AJ. Shirley is survived by daughter, Danna Gibson; sons, James (Sylvia) Davis Jr. and Ernest (Maria) Davis; sisters, Sharon Stowell and Jane James; brothers, Arlie Dolly Jr., Wilbur and Walter Dolly; grandchildren, Billy, E.J. (Kacie), Robert (Tracey), James, Austin, Deborah, Jennifer, Melissa, Amanda, and Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Issac, Tiffany, Sara, Katlin, Paige, Ava, Ayden, Payton, Maddie, Jordan, Houston, Julian and Kiley; numerous nieces and nephews, especially, Chentell, Scott, and Matthew; special friends, Jo-ann and Eddie; special brothers-in-law, Max and Steve.

Shirley was a foster parent for over 40 years of more than 50 children, including Kevin and Dwayne who continued to live with her after foster care. A special thank you to Kevin, who cared for her until the end.

Visitation Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019 from 5-8pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 at 2pm at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the OhioHealth Foundation (Kobacker House), 180 E. Broad St., FL 31, Columbus, OH 43215-9519.
