Shirley Moore

Shirley Moore, 93, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away March 9, 2018. Shirley was born on January 17, 1925, to Eldor Harry and Doris Nellie Blanche (Chandler) King in Malden, MA and is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 70 years, Warren E. Moore, Jr; sisters Larue Conley and June Mundschenk; brother Harry King.

Surviving family includes daughters Suzanne (Steve) Moore and Jennifer (Tad) Hale; grandchildren; Peter (Kate) Hale, Ali (Kelson) Mathias, Keegan Hale, Hannah (Joshua) Sandberg, Wes (Ashley) Brown; great-grandchildren Natalie and Clara Hale and Aidan Sandberg; devoted friends Millie Grace and Susie Waugh.

Shirley and Warren retired to New Hampshire from Massachusetts and then moved to Ohio to enjoy their grandchildren (and enjoy them, they did!). Shirley loved gardening, cooking and making a beautiful home everywhere they lived.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018, 9-10 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Memorial Service to follow at 10 AM.
