Shirley A. Moore, age 81, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018. She was born on January 20, 1937 in Columbus, OH.
She was a 1955 graduate of Grove City High School and later graduated from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing. Shirley worked as a Registered Nurse at various hospitals and owned her own dog grooming business for 25 years.
Surviving family includes daughters, Janet (James) Baker and Jayne Oswalt; boyfriend, James Houchins; grandchildren, Kirby (Sean) Wary, Kyle, Kendra and Korey Baker, Daniel (Meghan) Oswalt and Kathryn Oswalt; six great-grandchildren; nephew, John (Joni) Parker.
Preceded in death by husband, William Moore; parents, Harold and Ethel Dowling; sister, Ruthie Parker.
Memorial service will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway, where visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Burial to be held at a later date at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
