Shirley Ann Staley

Shirley Ann Staley, age 91, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on July 26, 2026. Shirley was born on April 28, 1935 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late James and Edna Standall.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Staley, siblings, Donna Sheward, Jim Standall, Patricia Yost, and Dick Standall.

She is lovingly survived by her sons, Louis (Margaret) Staley, David (Sue) Staley, Jim (Cyndi) Staley, grandchildren, Louis Jr, Linda, Tasha, Dale, Steven, Bill, Lisa, David Jr, Jamie, Katie, Jennifer, David, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Shirley would give you the shirt off her back. She worked at Stan's Restaurant while it was in business. She loved to bake. Her homemade pies and noodles will be missed at family gatherings. She was a Devout Christian. She read her Bible faithfully every day.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. for calling hours from 4pm -6pm with a funeral service starting at 6pm.
