Shirley Ann Townsend

Shirley Ann Townsend, age 86, passed away on October 27, 2024. She was born on July 30, 1938 to the late Alvin Edward, Jr. and Ruth Alzada (McFeely) Walton in Carroll, OH. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by children Maxine Townsend, John Townsend, Karla Hayner and Ed Randolph, sister Faye A. (Francis) McCloskey. Shirley is survived by son Frank (Benita) Walton, sisters Nellie Conley and Marjorie Walton, grandchildren April (Ivan) Carl, Melisa (Dale) Bailey and Paula Hayner, great grandchildren Anna (Jon) Mosel, Kylie Morris, Cole Loring, Mikylah Gibney, Kaila, Megan and Kelly Workman-Bailey, Trevor Carrier and Steven (Nash) Cole, great great grandchildren Kaylin, Jon Jr. and Jacob Mosel, many friends, nieces and nephews.

Her love was one of a kind, grandmother to all, and always took in everyone.

 Per Shirley's request a cremation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home.
