Shirley Woltz

Shirley Ann Woltz, 84, passed away July 15, 2026. She was preceded in death by parents, Leila and Eddie Osborne; siblings, Leona Clifford, Jeanette Andrews, Maynard Osborne, Diane Carroll; and an infant sibling; son, Mark Woltz; as well as her previous husband of 27 years, Steven K. Woltz.

Shirley is survived by children, Eric (Lynn Steele Russell) Woltz, Michael (Rennee Williams-Woltz) Woltz, Kevin Woltz, and Thomas (Natasha Moore) Woltz; grandchildren, Jillian, Caitlin, Dylan, and Logan Woltz, Joshua Woltz, Halie Williams, Gabriel Woltz, Jourdan Woltz, Brandon Moore, Alyssa Moore, Thomas Woltz, Breahna Woltz, and Myrandah Woltz; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ronnie Osborne.

Born in Buffalo Village, MN but grew up in Paintsville, KY, Shirley grew to love music. She played banjo, guitar, and electric guitar, as well as sang and danced the night away. Shirley had a natural ear for music. Some of her favorite artists were Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs, and Vince Gill.

She worked at Isaly's ice cream shop and USA skating rink, as well as embroidered for various organizations through Southern Bowling and Billiard. In her free time, she played pool. Above all, her boys were her world. No matter what she was going through, she was a happy spirit that always had a smile on her face. Shirley never forgot a holiday or anyone's birthday. She made sure everyone felt special.

Visitation Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 11:30am until the time of Funeral Service at 12:30pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's memory to Heartland Hospice.
