Sitaben K. Parbhoo, 84, passed away on October 19, 2025.
Sitaben was born on May 18, 1941 in Livingston, Zambia. She attend BJ Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. She then married the late Kantilal Parbhoo and moved to Sheffield, England. In 1972, both immigrated to the United States. Dr. Parbhoo was a psychiatrist at a few clinics, but her main employment was with Twin Valley Psychiatric Hospital where she recently was celebrated for over 50 years of service. The surviving impact of her life lives on for the thousands of patients she helped over her long professional career.
In addition to the lasting love and care Sitaben had for her friends and family, she was a loving mother to three daughters. Shilpa Parbhoo (passed in 2007). Manisha Wadia married to Bahar Wadia, parents to Nikhil and Hrithik Wadia. Rupal Parbhoo, mother to Devan and Akash Verma. Sitaben is also survived by 2 loving brothers: Chotu Patel and Govind Morar.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24 with visitation beginning at 2 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, Ohio. A prayer ceremony will be at 3pm followed by a family remembrance at 4pm. All are welcomed.
