Sondra JoElla Hager of Pataskala, Ohio and formally of Findlay, Ohio passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 29. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of almost 60 years, Harold David Hager. They were married in Findlay on July 3rd, 1958. She was born on March 10, 1942 to Floyd and Faye LaCroix in Miami, Florida, later, moving to the Findlay area were she continued living with her beloved grandparents, Otto and Edith Cramer. Sandy was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Findlay Zenobia Shrine Dolls, she spent many years in CCL and taught Sunday School at Christ Church United Methodist. After her move to the Columbus area she was employed by J.C.Penny Portfolio Furniture for almost 15 years as management and an interior design specialist. Her later years she joined Macy's and retired in 2015. She is survived by daughters Robin (Ralph Brown), Toni (Tom Orwick) of Findlay, Ohio and Terri Seipel of N. Venice, Florida. Her blessed grandchildren were the light of her life, Tara Orwick of Dublin, Ohio, Krista Bruce of Little River, SC and Evan and Emily Seipel of Granville, Ohio and her loving companion Skipper the Golden Doodle. Sandy will always be remembered as a loving, compassionate and giving woman with a deep spiritual soul.
Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1pm until time of service at 2pm.
Services in Findlay will be held at a later date.
Special thanks to her son in law, Dr. Andrew Seipel for his continuous care and Hospice of Central Ohio for making her final days a little easier.
