Stacy Gordon

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Stacy Gordon, a loving son, brother, father, and friend, who left us on March 31, 2026. Born on October 30, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio, Stacy’s vibrant spirit touched the lives of many during his 38 years of life.

Stacy was a man of many passions and a big heart. From a young age, he embraced the beauty of the outdoors with a fervor that defined him. Whether snowboarding through pristine slopes, casting his line while fishing, or camping under the endless sky, Stacy found peace and joy in nature's embrace. His hobbies also included working diligently in his workshop, shooting, and most of all, sharing music and the excitement of festivals with those around him. Above all, he cherished the company of his beloved cats and the people who made his world meaningful.

He was educated at Westerville North, a place where many of the friends and memories that shaped him began. Stacy pursued a varied career, starting in the restaurant industry before transitioning into HVAC work, where his dedication and skill stood out. But beyond any profession, it was his role as a father to his precious son, Rowan, that brought him the deepest pride and fulfillment—his proudest accomplishment and lasting legacy.

Stacy’s personality was as warm as the sunlight he so loved, marked by a generous spirit and a welcoming nature. Family trips were a source of treasured memories, a testament to the closeness and love he fostered with those dearest to him.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Rise Gordon; his loving brother, Taylor Gordon; and most importantly, his son, Rowan Gordon, who will carry his father’s memory forward. Stacy is also reunited in spirit with his late father, Tim Gordon, whose memory remains a guiding light for the family.

A heartfelt Celebration of Life will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast, located at 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231, on April 9, 2026. Friends and family are invited to gather from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM to honor a life well-lived, a man deeply loved, and a presence deeply missed.

Stacy Gordon’s passage leaves a silence filled with love and loss. Yet in the wind’s whisper through the trees, the laughter of festivals, and the bright trails of a snowboard carving fresh snow, his spirit endures, forever a part of the outdoors and the hearts he touched.
