Stephen L. Niemet Jr., passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Steve was born in Columbus, OH on December 31, 1948, to Stephen L. and Mary (Poling) Niemet, Sr and is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Niemet.
Survivors include his sons, Stephen (Julie) Niemet III and Scott (Joshua) Niemet; brothers, John (Janice) and Robert Niemet; granddaughter, Hailey Niemet; former wife, Linda Niemet; nieces, nephews cousins and many friends.
Steve graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1966.
Family and friends will gather on April 4, 2017, 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, C/O Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213-9924.
