Steven August Anderson, lifelong Hilltop and Westgate resident, passed peacefully in his sleep on November 25, 2018. Born August 18th, 1943,
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Althea Jones and Russell Anderson, brother Donald Anderson, daughter April Anderson Merrill, and son Steven Scott Anderson.
He is survived and deeply loved by daughter Tiffaney (Bryan) DeFranco, wife Cynthia Steinke Anderson, stepchildren Jennifer and John (Kirsten) Keplar, former wife Mary Anderson, nephews Phil and Tim Anderson, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Steve was a 1962 graduate of West High School and an OSU alum. He was a professional salesman for 3 decades, but is locally known for his years working at Buck's Auto, Ohio Auto Club, and NAPA.
A celebration of Steve's life will take place Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 3pm with visitation one hour prior at Westgate Lodge 2925 W. Broad St, Columbus, OH 43204. A reception to follow in the Lodge Dining Hall. Scarlet and gray attire welcomed.
Family humbly requests contributions to the funeral expenses instead of flowers.
