Marjorie Lee ("Sue") Decker-Bernard, is singing with the angels after passing away on November 26, 2013. Sue was born on December 20, 1933, in Columbus, Ohio, and preceded in death by her parents Paul and Lucille O'Hearn, and her first husband of 48 years, Jack Decker, and her second husband of 10 years, John Bernard.
She is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Sparks (John Gambaiani), Laurie Kincaid (Jim Kincaid) and Paula Decker-Quick; four grandchildren, Chad Kincaid (Monica), Austin Kincaid, Emily Quick-Badillo (Juan), Devon Sparks; four great-grandchildren, Mia and Luke Kincaid and Aiden and Rylee Badillo. Sue is also survived by her sister, Pat Chambers; sister-in-law, Sharon Jackson (Mike). Sue was the perfect homemaker, ceramic artist and loved the Lord and singing in the choir at church; she did not know a stranger and was kind to all, especially children.
The family would particularly like to thank the residents and caregivers of National Church Residences (Mill Run) who lovingly treated Sue as family. Sue was a faithful member of Trinity Assembly of God. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City Chapel, 3393 Broadway, where family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1st from 2 to 6 pm. Services Monday, December 2nd at 10 am at Trinity Assembly of God, interment following services at the Alton Cemetery.
