Sue Ann Warren, a cherished soul whose life touched many, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 84. Born on July 19, 1941, in Wheeling, West Virginia, Sue was the beloved daughter of the late Albert and Virginia Williamson.
Her journey through life was marked by love, dedication, and service. Sue was preceded in death not only by her devoted parents but also by the love of her life, William "Bill" Warren, and by her siblings—Martie, Kay, and Jeanie—as well as her dear son-in-law, Daniel Roberts. Their memories remain lovingly etched in her heart and in the hearts of all who knew her.
Sue’s legacy lives on vividly through those she leaves behind. She is fondly remembered by her children, Bill Warren and his wife Michele, Kim Roberts, Melissa Warren, and Greta Robb and her husband Jeffrey. Her family blossomed into the next generations, with grandchildren Brooke Ashley Warren, Cole Robb, Rebecca Roberts, Lucas Warren, Cade Warren, Liam Robb, and Jack Casey Warren, each reflecting the warmth and kindness that Sue so generously shared.
Her educational journey began at St. Joseph Academy, where she graduated from high school, paving the way for her to pursue a career in nursing at Wheeling College of Nursing. Sue dedicated many years to nursing, faithfully serving as a registered nurse before retiring from OSU East. Her compassion and commitment to caring for others were hallmarks of her professional and personal life alike.
Beyond her vocation, Sue found joy in simple pleasures that enriched her life. She was an avid player of bridge and twig, activities that brought both challenge and camaraderie. Her garden was a sanctuary, a place of peace and beauty where she nurtured plants as tenderly as she did those around her.
Sue’s passing leaves a profound void, but her spirit endures in the hearts of family and friends. Her kindness, strength, and love remain a guiding light. Though words cannot fully capture the depth of this loss, those who loved Sue carry her memory forward with affection and gratitude.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date, honoring a life well-lived and a woman deeply cherished. Sue Ann Warren’s legacy is one of unwavering love and devotion, a testament to a life that truly mattered and will forever be remembered.
