Sylvester Appu, age 58, of Columbus, Ohio passed away February 2, 2019.
He was born in Apowa, Takoradi, Ghana to Simon and Gladys Appu. Sylvester was preceded in death by his loving parents. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Owusu; Children, Simon Appu, Sylvester Appu Jr., Sebastian Appu, Blessed Jeremiah Appu; Step-Children; Elliana Owusu, Jenessa Konadu; sisters, Veronica Appu, Monica Abandoh, Christina Appu, Justina Appu, Brothers; Donald J Appu,; cousins, Lydia, Fr Francis, Matthias Quayson, Benjamin Coffie, Yvonne Alorbuh and a whole host of nieces and grandchildren.
Sylvester was a real fan of the Liverpool soccer team.
Funeral service will be held at St Anthony's Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Road, Columbus Ohio, on March 2, 2019 beginning with viewing at 9:30am and Mass at 11am. There will be funeral durbar (repass) at 9pm to 1am at the St Anthony School Gym.
