Talishia Linnea Jones

Talishia Linnea Jones began her life journey on May 17, 1976. She blessed this world with her presence until the angels of God called her home, gaining her wings while surrounded by family and close friends on December 27, 2017.

Talishia "Tish" graduated from Columbus Alternative High School and Southeast Career Center majoring in Pre-College Business Technology in 1994. She went to Columbus State Community College, majoring in Business Management, where she earned an Associates Degree; then transferred to Capital University to earn both a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and Masters of Business Administration.

Tish was the epitome of faithfulness, leadership and dedication to every project, mission, and person her life touched. She honored those opportunities and embraced them as life achievements. Among those achievements were her marriage of 11 years; her employment for 20 years with Capitol Office Supply where she was a member of the company's management team serving as a Customer Service Manager & Marketing Director; her membership at Christ N Us Ministries O.C.C. for more than 13 years, where she served as the Youth Pastor, Teen Sunday School Teacher, Armor Bearer to the Apostle, as well as developed and put on plays, major outreach services, food pantry ministry and any other ministry where she could be a blessing.

Her smile was a light of love and was felt throughout the O.C.C. in Indiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Talishia's memory will be cherished by her mother, father, husband, son, daughter, granddaughter, sisters and brothers; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended church family. Homegoing Celebration services are scheduled for Thursday, January 4, 2018, 11:00 am at Christ N Us Ministries O.C.C., 511 Industrial Mile Road Columbus, Oho 43228 with repass to immediately follow.
