Dear Family and Friends,
In Loving Memory of Tamara Kay Kirksey - Farley (Smith)
It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Tamara Kay Kirksey, a beloved mother, life partner, sister, family member, and friend whose kindness and strength touched the lives of so many.
Tamara lived her life with grace, courage, and an unwavering love for those she held dear. She possessed a beautiful spirit that radiated warmth, compassion, and generosity. Her smile could brighten a room, and her caring heart made others feel valued, comforted, and loved.
As a mother, Tamara's love was unconditional. She gave of herself selflessly, offering guidance, encouragement, and unwavering devotion. Her children were among her greatest joys, and the love she poured into their lives will continue to shape them for years to come.
As a life partner, Tamara shared a bond built on love, loyalty, and companionship. She offered steadfast support through life's celebrations and challenges, creating a relationship grounded in trust, laughter, and enduring commitment.
To her family, Tamara was so much more than a sister. She was a confidante, a source of wisdom, a steadfast supporter, and a cherished friend. Through life's joys and hardships, she remained a constant presence, offering encouragement, laughter, and unconditional love. The bond she shared with her family was one of her life's greatest treasures.
Tamara faced life's challenges with remarkable strength and resilience. She taught those around her the importance of perseverance, grace, and appreciating the simple moments that make life meaningful. Her legacy lives on not only in the memories she leaves behind, but also in the love she gave so freely and the countless lives she touched.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are grateful for the precious memories we shared with her—the laughter, the conversations, the celebrations, and the quiet moments of understanding. Those memories will forever remain a source of comfort and strength.
Tamara will be deeply missed by her children, Jada Kirksey (Drew Arbaugh) and Tristan Kirksey; her life partner, Tim Farley; her mother, Shirley (Ed) Shonkwiler; her father, Donald Smith; her siblings; her nieces and nephews; and all who had the privilege of knowing her. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived and a woman who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return.
Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind, and her memory will forever be a blessing.
Rest peacefully, Tamara. You were loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
