Tawnya Harper

Tawnya Irene Harper, age 55, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2025. Tawnya was born on October 17, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Vicki Harper.

Along with her mom, she is preceded in death by her life partner, Pam Oswald.

She is lovingly survived by her grandmother, Norma Harper, children, Josh (Rachael) Harper and Caitie (Doug) Harper, bonus daughter, Racheal (Chris) DeLong, bonus son, Brandon (Sarah) McCleary, dad, Chuck Howard, siblings, Jennifer Howard, Anthony (Chris) Howard, grandchildren, Lillian, Willow, Jacob, Emma, Kyler, Alexis, Noah, Anakin, Ryleigh, and many extended family members and friends.

She loved watching movies and spending time with her grand babies. She spent a majority of her life helping to raise not only her own children, but also the children of close family members. She enjoyed gardening. She was very artistic, she loved crafting and adult coloring books. She adored all things cows.

She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123 for calling hours from 1pm - 3pm with a funeral service starting at 3pm.

Tawnya loved wearing flannel shirts. Tawnya's family encourages guests to wear their best flannel shirt to honor her memory.
