Ted L. Crabtree, 73, of Columbus, passed away the morning of September 26, 2026, a day short of his 74th birthday. He was born in Raymond, Ohio on September 27, 1952, to the late Luther and Wilma (Mercer) Crabtree. He married Catherine Montell on August 17, 1974, and she survives.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 10 am to 11 am on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. A service to honor Ted's life will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 9571 N. High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035.
