Tennis "Lee" Farley, 86, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Heartland of Uptown Westerville.
He was born October 21, 1932 in Pineville, WV, son of the late Franklin and Nora "Ellen" Waddel Farley.
In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Metz Farley; son, Christopher Farley; an infant daughter; brothers, Jess and Russ Farley.
He owned and operated Farley Truck Service, Farley Welding and Farley 76 of Whitehall.
Lee is survived by his children, Elizabeth E. Farley and Joel Farley; grandchildren, Mitchell Staten, McClain Farley and Margaret Farley; sisters-in-law, Lera Metz and Pearl Farley.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shelby-Oakland Cemetery, Shelby, OH.
Contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430 Newark, OH 43058.
